Making all your Treehouse wishes come true |
Imagine if you lived in a world where everything turned out to be exactly as it first seemed. A place where there were no new exciting things to discover and no wonderful surprises popping up around every bend.
Of course for those a little longer in the tooth this probably wouldn't be such a bad thing because the older you get it's actually considered a bonus when things turn out to be as they first appear. Maybe this is something to do with the fact that with age comes the knowledge that some surprises can have a terrible habit of turning nasty and 'new' doesn't always equate to exciting.
When it comes to children however, nothing could be further from the truth - nor should it be. How dull would life be for those young minds just discovering the importance of imagination, if a box was just a box, a cave just a cave and a tree just a tree? So here at Treehouse Life - being a bunch of big kids ourselves - we are passionate about replacing the ordinary with the unexpected and sparking the imaginations of the next generation of doers, thinkers, inventors and explorers.
We love creating safe yet exciting places in which children of all ages can discover new skills, express themselves through play and laugh till their sides ache. Or in other words, we love being able to fill children's lives with as much fun as it is possible to pack in.
Our latest project is another example of how we like to think, design and work outside of that box we were talking about before. It gave us yet another chance to take a completely blank canvass and sprinkle it with a little magic and a lot of bright ideas.
Treehouse Life was invited to the Westfield Children's Centre in Stoke-on-Trent, where, working alongside landscape and groundwork designers, we were asked to add a fence, gate and storage box to an existing project. A nice simple brief you would think? The trouble is Treehouse Life doesn't like to do anything 'simple' and we certainly don't like to do anything by halves. So using our furtive imagination and many years of experience with treehouses, we did what Treehouse Life does best. We took this empty children's landscape and transformed it into a medieval kingdom fit for brave knights of old and beautiful princesses.
A simple wooden fence took the form of a magnificent castle, complete with it's own handcrafted turret. A functioning storage box turned into an exciting roped bridge and the necessary entrance way became an all singing, all dancing drawbridge. In fact, by the time we had created our magical kingdom all that was missing was a moat filled with crocodiles and a fire-breathing dragon - elements we thought best left to the children's imagination. For health and safety reasons you understand.
So if you have a little bit of space to spare and kids who love to live in make-believe lands, then let Treehouse Life create you a whole new world. We specialise in creating extra special adventures and making your wildest ideas, dreams and wishes come true. Just consider us your very own fairy godmother, armed with a set of tools instead of that sparkling magic wand. selves through play and laugh till their sides ache.
