Treehouses from grandparents with love

Being a parent can be tricky. Hardest job in the world many believe, and for good reason. What other role has you working around the clock - 7 days a week, 365 days a year for the rest of your life. What other profession comes with zero training, no sick leave and not a pension in sight. Come to think of it, what other career comes without a salary - only bills that increase rapidly with every day that goes by.

Yes parenthood is certainly a challenge and a costly affair. Everyone wants the best for their kids; to be able to give them everything that they want and all the things you never had as a child. But sometimes, especially in these post credit-crunch times, it's hard to make your money stretch in every direction that you'd like it to go.

Grand-parenting however, unlike parenting, is a different kettle of fish altogether. By this stage in your life you are free to enjoy the best of what kids can offer, without being subjected to the worst. And when we say worst, we are of course talking sleepless nights, early mornings and those embarrassing temper tantrums in the supermarket aisle.

But perhaps one of the best things of all about being a grandparent is being able to spoil your offspring's offspring, and treat them to something you previously wouldn't have had the spare cash to splash out on. Like a treehouse, for example. In fact, many of Treehouse Life's customers are grandparents - retired, foot-loose and fancy free, and finally in the financial position to do something really special for their family.

So if you've got a special birthday or family occasion coming up, or just want to win 'Grandparent of the Year', then perhaps we can come up with the perfect gift for you to give.

Perhaps you have an energetic grandson who always comes with spare energy to burn? Then we'd suggest one of our fantastic, action-packed playgrounds - the perfect place for him to climb, clamber, swing or slide. Or maybe you have a daydreaming granddaughter with an active imagination to engage? Then we'd suggest one of our magical treetop treehouses, complete with winding staircases and secret doors - the perfect place for her to make-believe and entertain her friends (both real and imaginary) with a cup of tea.

Perhaps your grandchildren now consider themselves far too grown-up for such childish games? Not a problem. We'd then suggest a little something to stretch their boundaries and test their nerve - like our unique treetop canopy walkways that snake through the leaves in the trees, or one of our high-speed zip wires that will bring them hurtling back down to the ground.

Of course any one of these treetop adventure worlds can be built either in your grandchild's back garden or your own - with or without a tree. If you build in your garden you will of course be guaranteeing many more regular visits for years to come and the likelihood that your house will become their absolute favourite place to play.

And for those really hands-on grandfathers who are far from putting their feet up and watching the world go by, how about building them a treehouse yourself? Here at Treehouse life we can provide everything that you'll need to get the job done, from the designs, materials and accessories to some really helpful advice and guidance in case you can't make head or tail of what to do.

Whichever route you decide to go down - letting Treehouse Life do what we do best or going completely DIY - we promise that not only will you enjoy every single minute you spend watching your family play, you'll have helped to make all your grandchildren's wildest dreams come true.
